Id pay to have my dread painted Pink with bright purple color guns and lasers 
I bet id be ganked first tho hehe xD
On the note of chargeing for name change some people can afford to change there name when ever thay please so this will not stop most people faction hoppying and name changeing to cover who thay are

If i don't like someone i just /who and look at their ID, i keep a list of "priority targets" IDs next to my desktop.
Also I'd pay for a lazer enh that seperates the spectrum of light within the beam to shoot rainbows....
Just thought id say that.

Why exactly do you want to make name changing difficult? By either making it impossible or restricting it, just seems to be pointless.

if it rlly rlly matters that much, i can imagine a simple solution:
list the used names in the past on the player profile, like a wiki edit log.
like: name: blabla
location: even more bla
previous names:
15-6 : silly nanny
13-6 : Hotdogs without Sauerkraut
11-3 : Frinkenshizzle
etc

yes yes not a deathbeam, but the ultimate beam of happyness. a high powered laser bundle with a prism crystal mounted on the focal point, each colour hitting the enemey has a random effect! you and i are much alike, kenny_naboo ( who is NOT SRM_kenny)
