Hey folks. Just wondering.
Since this is an MMO, and you're sort of role-playing.
Would a face creator add any sort of intrinsic value to the game or your gaming experience or level of immersion?

Would be kinda cool, but I'd rather see a lot of other things fixed/added before somthing like this was implimented.

it probably would add.
midshipmen would then be able to aspire to reach chief marshal rank, with a complementary face to go with it
i think giving an option to upload and use the picture of your own face (60x60, 16/24 bit) would also be nice.

I'm talking abt a 3D face creator tool ala Fallout 3, Mass Effect, or EVE.

Just noting that any bugs should be reported so we can investigate and fix them. Do not assume we have experienced all bugs or that bugs are public knowledge, we are really helped by players submitting bug reports.

Please use the suggestions link found just above the link to the Development Blog.
Also, this sort of addition to the game would take months on end, possible a year. We have no models, no art, the engine isn't capable of supporting what people would want...
It's not going to happen, basically.
