IDF Was a failure for obvious reasons. Given, one of the worst obsticles I have been trying to overcome was to get the IDF's bad reputation off.

The SLDF Is nothing like and will never be anything like the IDF. One of the huge differences already is leadership. It seems some people fail to realize that, however. Before you can say anything about the SLDF however, ask yourself "Do you actually even play MV", if the answer is no, than do not bother going 'its going to be just like the IDF'.

I also notice that almost all the people saying 'its going to be just like the IDF' are members of Agents.

No, I have not forgotten about the IDF, and as most people from the IDF's time remember, I was one of the main people that fought against the IDF when they made the 'ICC is surrendering' decision.

The SLDF Will NEVER EVER become anything LIKE the IDF. Plain and simple.

the *icc is surrendering* thing was initially a real thing, some people had pretty much given up any hope of surviving the massive UGTO fleet that was preparing for attack in Cygnus, after some thought tho, the fleet commanders decided theyd only pretend to be surrendering, and have a massive trap on the CD side of the gate. Unfortunately, KC said he would no longer support ICC if we did that, so we decided we werent even gonna pretend to surrender anymore.

IDF was a mixed success and failure. it succeded in bringing ICC together, and created inter-clan bonds that havent broken down yet as far as i can tell. it failed due to a bad command decision that everyone took too heavily, everyone makes mistakes. even so, the IDF is far too outdated a system for now, hopefully ISDF is using a more revolutionary and precise management process.

and btw, how could Agents be saying your clan is gonna be another IDF when theres only 5 of us who play? 4 of which dont talk much

KC Said he was not supporting the ICC anymore if they actually surrendered. He never said anything about withdrawing support if it was just a ruse.

Knowing him, he would have probably laughed till his sides burst if the uggys actually accepted the ruse.
