so i've seen ppl jumping forward to get away or closer to something like Fleet Admiral kubro and Dark Flux ... and that thing is used to go to right and left also without turning, someone dodged my fire that way .. cant remember who it was .. but he just like juped from left to right and went away from me .... i asked ppl that i saw doing that but they dont want to tell me how they do that ... someone said its because of latency but my latency was low when i saw them jumping like that ... unless its a hack? if its not can someone tell me how to do that ... thx in advance

It does not depend only on your connection, but also on the connection of the other player.

It's either due to your connection, or the other players connection. Not much we can do about it.

Only way to tell which of you has the problem is ask around and see which one of you other people see jumping around, usually if it's the other guy then someone else will say something like "Don't bother shooting at him, he's desynched to hell".

Ah rubberbanding.

I love it. It makes me pukingly sick just trying to track their movements.
And I don't even have to drink myself silly....

in really laggy conditions with crappy connection, ships gain the power to defy natural laws of darkspace. They can disco, strafe, teleport, go really fast, and barrel roll. Good news is they are probably too lagged or desynched to shoot back at you.
