Show of hands folks, how many of you have read the manual? i mean really read it? Be honest.
How about the FAQ?
How many of you think the manual isnt all that and bag of chips because its long/outdated/long/disorganised/ and possibly long?
How many of you would actually read the manual if it was in a wiki format?
What would you guys say if we put up our own wiki on the webserver?, like this weekend even.
How many would be interested in helping us add content?
What if we offered you a spiffy editor flag (might not actually be spiffy. or even a flag)
okay, what if we offered a small pile of credits (TBD) for each page (limited time offer, and we'll of course check for quality)?
anyone with wiki-editing experiance willing to help out?

As the editor of the DS-DB (DarkSpace-DataBase) i would welcome a wiki with open arms. This could give me much more options howto inform the community of all the nice data inside darkspace, so that they can read it as information in a easy to understand format.
Not to forget, it gives all of you, "the community" a chance to help, by filling this wiki or updating it whenever things are changing.
So who else likes this? I sure do!

Believe it or not I did read the manual in it's entirety when I started, but then I will ALWAYS read a manual, FAQ, or in game help menu before I ask questions.
But yes, a wiki would be much better, and I would contribute to it.

i would love to contribute, and i think haveing it on wiki would help with makeing the game a bit easyer to learn and understand.

I read the manual and the FAQ, I would love to help.
I would also being willing to help keep it up-to-date throught its existence, I don't have plans on leaving any time soon.

I would love to help with content, and the wiki format is a lot more familiar to many players than a manual (myself included).

A DS Wiki sounds good. I don't think many people actually read the whole manual, but I've personally referencd it and the FAQ from time to time for specific things (ex. Max signature dementions/file size)

sounds really good and yes when i was a young newbie i used to go read the requirements section very often to see how much pres i needed for a certian badge or rank now seeing that ive never tried wiki editing or anything like that ill keep out of it ( i might give it a go ) but i may or may not have good ideas about it

A wiki sounds like a wonderful idea, though you need to be sure everyone knows about it. I read the whole manual and FAQ and have to say that a wiki would be a more enjoyable format for most people to read.
