When you have had to much drinks and start hallucinating about the actual lobby..
and start to make gif's of it.
Then you wake up the next day? and see what you made.
Awkward moment? heck yes!

Awkward moment when you jump right on top of a cruiser orbiting an enemy planet with no dictor and right then the dictor turns on and the player changes ships pulls out a station and kills you

When Michelle was still a depot rock I was leading a line of END K'luth dreads slowly past Zoca toward it while listening to someone who called me on my cell phone.
I am not good at multi-tasking so I was only half-listening to what he was saying because it was kinda a tense situation we were flying in. Our target was one of the dreads sitting around Michelle and we were deep in the enemy dictor field. As most of you know, at that time if you did not hit a UGTO dread at Michelle just right and with enough firepower, you were not going to destroy it.
As we kept drifting closer and closer, the person on the phone kept talking. We were not in a good spot to just stop at because we could have gotten pinged at any moment so I at least wanted the line to keep moving.
Suddenly a damaged UGTO dread pops out of the Zoca sy right in front of us. I actually dropped my cell phone while the other person was still talking in order to tell my people to uncloak and fire over Voice-comms.
I really wanted to take out that Uggy dread before he could fly the short distance he had to go to Michelle's depots where those couple other Uggy dreads were sitting already.
By the time I picked my phone up again from where i dropped it, the other person had hung up. Good thing it wasn't important...

Another time, lol, tho we found it amusing, it could be called awkward was when someone actually reported END for botting. He thought that the rest of my people were bots following me around because of the way we play.
I guess it doesn't speak well for DS when close teamwork and flying in formations is so rare that when someone sees it, he thinks it must be someone with bots following him around. (shakes head)

jump steveyk in his engy, get disconnected, come back im dead:)
have an ead pointjump my ganglia after i short jumped, i turn away and fly full speed, firing missles that turn and hit the ead behind me, i end up killing it.
no enemy online for 2 hours, i decide to cap a planet. bombed inf off it, dropped some inf, then i orbit it in station. 1 minute later dictor back online and i get jumped by 3 enemy dreads:P
some of those moments...

I laughed so hard at this since you can pay a few hundred credits to buy some bots to fly around with you. Of course, the AI enh aren't nearly as effective as human players, but still.
.....Ok, they aren't as effective as MOST human players.

The awkward moment when your looking backwards firing at an enemy on your tail and a planet tries to give you a hug.
