Post Here if you have and the number of times you've been beaconed or Beacon spammed thats a factor

I CTDed 8 times in this patch: how: Too many Fighters, Beacon Spammed, Boarded, and in Clusters

I don't understand what you are trying to do here Goth, could you please explain what this thread and your post is actually trying to do other than start people complaining.

So what people use beacons, they also use mirv's, neuts, flux, Pcannons the list goes on and on and you are slow but very gradually working your way through the list.

I think it is as I said to you b4 Goth, you really need to have a break away from DS because you are taking things too seriously and you are doing a lot of complaining and it is affecting other people.

If beacons are crashing your machine after as few as 8, then you seriously need to consider an upgrade. My old Geforce 2 MX, with a Pentium 2, 350mhz (256mb ram) never had an issue with DS, or beacons, or fighters.

If you are crashing because of them, it's an issue on your end. End of story.

I've only crashed to desktop once, at my own fault. (Naughty keys!)

I've ran darkspace on a 880mhz Pentium III, 256mb Ram, 16mb onboard gfx card, and I experienced little to no lag, aside from the HUGE fights and when messing in Jack's server in late .482/early .483. I had a looot of beacons on me, but never crashed to the desktop.

I'd say it's something on your end, Goth.
