orly?i happen to have DS on disk,what version is that one?

on the disk is only client-side, not the server...

and even if you got a DS server with the right version you would stil need the correct database from that version.
we need to forget this all and move on.

C&C 3 is better than HL2
Eve does infact employ people from the community who display the skills.
Crim is a carebear, the only thing his Wolf does is level 1 missions.
DS > Eve for an action fix
Eve > DS for a deeper more involving gameplay experience
DS > Eve for community
Eve > DS for content
Each has its ups and downs, neither is hugely expensive, why not play both? Get the best of both sides, switch between whenever one has you frustrated.
P.S. Bring back .480, I think its unanimously agreed that, or 1.3, were the pinnacle of DS
