I have to say, this was done very well. A good read, short and to the point.
The only thing I want to mention is that, with a realistic scale, the bomber wing would have to be sure the interdictor/quantum targets were with in the small area the dreadnought jumped near of the planet, and that the planet was in the correct rotation to have the targets on that side of the planet. Otherwise the bombers would easily be destroyed by point defense.
Planets are huge compared to space ships and fleets, most planets have to space out their defenses for 100% cover, which is why they are normally a last desperate line of defense.
But otherwise, a very good read, and I hope for more.

Thanks for the kind words. Well, I can't get everything right, can I? Let's just assume that they had planned and timed the fighter launch/insertion to coincide with the planetary rotation or whatever it is.
Anyway, more to come soon. Another aspect of the DS uni/meta verse.
