On a side note this is not being held in the Beta server rather it will be in the MV and pre 1.7 release.

Okay so the rules have been changed.
I have tested this event over the past month (mini events I suppose) and have found that it will work better if people decide on their own if they want to team up with other factions. For the most part people will do it anyway but since we want to get as much participation as possible we are making this rule change to try and get more involvement. The Event date has been set back a week to allow people to review the changes and to allow more time to decide.
Also the SY planet being made available to all factions will be scripted so it is a definite thing. This should make things easier for you. (Yes ICC you will get your planets back when it is all over)

You know, it's saturday and sunday in around the world. We can't guarantee we're at home that time due to trip out. It's summer all the way.
I would like the option to log on in time and register immediately right before the event, and choose partners during registration. And I believe others may feel like me.
JBud old events almost happened like that. Around 30 minutes after the destined time, the event officially started.
And just limit the maximum number of the group. Teamwork is the key point for victory but maybe partners could not log on and we won't want to wait. Again, in the old events held by JBud, sometimes groups had to merge because a few members logged off for various personal reasons.
Afterall, the more people involve, the more flexible the rule should be.

So just for clarities sake let me see if I have the rules that are changed right:
1) A shipyard planet will be provided to each faction in the event system (most likely dres kona)
2) The other factions MAY shoot at each other if they so choose?

Just state here in the post that you will attend. You can view others who have signed up and form a team with them or ask other players/friends to join you. Have them sign up here in the forum as well.
