darkspace not working |

So i just downloaded darkspace on a new computer running windows 8. At first it said failed to run darkspacesetup.exe but i changed the permissions and ran complibility mode, then it still said the same thing so i ran compatibility mode and administator rights on darspacesetup.exe and darkspaceclient.exe. Now when i click join a server it gets to updating local catalog and just resets back to ready.
What do i do?

GCQL.exe needs admin permissions too. It's failing because it cannot write to disk.

also make sure you are launching from Servers not launch

If you try to launch from the "Launch" tab, it moves you to the Servers tab.
