(I feel these guys are the what most others see as the K'luth front line combateers, some are great tacticians, great wingmen and very good combat pilots, if you fly K'luth I guarantee you learn a lot from these chaps.)

Glad I've gotten some mentions, but honestly, I just keyboard smash.
Theres only three people I truely fear playing against, and in order:
#1 - Pete(Banshee) because he really is just that good. I've never beat him on on one.
#2 - Ramius because he's almost like Pete. I've beat him, but it's a rare rare thing.
#3 - Enterprise because he's flown with both Pete and Ramius. Honestly, I've had to face all three of these guys at once, it isn't fun.
Nim and Sheng are decent, but in terms of actual 'Oh god, it's [insert name]", they where never big factors in a battle. But if you've ran across any fleets lead by these three, you likley lost.

Yeah, I feel the game has changed so much that combat strategy has changed as well, especially for K'luth, so its why I could not vote one overall best pilot, you could probably list them in different versions. I could list pilots going back to 2002 when I had my other account and name the likes of Kamikaze Chicken, Demorian, Coombie etc, I guess its what holds the most in ones memories about certain players.
Bardiche I feel is right that we can only mention players we enjoy having combat against rather than naming best overall, and these kinda of threads do bring out the vainess out of people.
Last night I was fighting against Stealth and then Sol Badguy in my Mandi, Stealth eventually jumped out and then Sol took over, I had to drop my speed down to 4 to maintain a degree of energy and regually switching sides, Sol was down to 35% hull in his cruiser and I could of finished him but because of the longativity of the fight and the combatship that was shown by those two I passed a tell to Sol and gave him a salute and jumped out. It will be one fight I will remember for a long time to come.
