Geforce 256 driver (above 6.50) problem :-( |

I play darkspace with my asus-v6600 and driver v6.50 and everything works fine. When I install a newer one, eg 11.x or 12.x the screen flashes in the game. Anyone with the same problem and a solution ?

Jep i have the same Prob with the higer Drivers, a flahsing scren and Navmap. With the 6.50 i have no Probs.

i use for my GE256 DDR (hercules)the 6.88-driver
no problemo with that 
all drivers above 6.88 produce a lot of grafic-errors 
at this moment i try the version 7`s 
i keep you informed

The 7 serie works fine with DS
Testing 7.91 atm (beware of one of the drivers... i lost my option of TV-out - though i cannot remember which one )
Oh i use GeForce 256 too

Can you maybe sent me the latest working driver version ? And yes, the tv option is not included in the detonator drivers, I think, but I did´nt need it.

Hmmm, how does that bode for the Geforce2 GTS? Anyone using that for this game. Looking for feedback on the Ultra and GF3 as well. Already heard of all the Radeon funstuff.

I've a Geforce 256 (Creative Labs)with the latest detonator and directX drivers. Since 3-5 days DS does not start: I get a 'Failed to initialize display' message after client update....

Try to go to setup in DS and change the display settings. That works here.

i try the new nvidia driver 12.60 WHQL...and it works bad, don't try it.

12.60 is not WHQL.. but 12.41 is...
i tried 12.40 but haven't tried 12.41.... anyone else tried it?
