Hi
I'm using the 10.80 and have no problems there and they are really faster than the old 6.50. Perhaps u should give them a try.
I have a TNT2 btw.

Hallo,

I have the same Problems with a ASUS V6800 (GE256 DDR).

The best driver for DS was the old 6.5, after that I have a lot of Problems ( flashs on the screen near a planet).

In the Moment I use the 12.4. I have only a problem with DS.

I hope Richard solve the problem.

yes the 12.41 be a problem . i `ve downgrades to the last before 12.41 and all work fine.

My other Workaround is to set an delay to the Vga Adapter. but this will slow down the system. also the transfer rate from AGP seems to be involved in this Problem.............sadly i `ve no time at the moment to find out a proper answer.

Well, after release of the open beta I will do some tests on my machine with different drivers, problems and possible solutions and post it here.

Perhaps Faustus can use this to solve some problems.

Hmm I didn't thin to change my AGP transfer rate from 4x to 2x to 1x to see if that affected the problem or not. That'll be something to try later on.

Ok,so changing AGP transfer rates don't seem to help

I doubt disabling specular lighting or lightmaps would help, thought we could try, and I already have Video BIOS and system BIOS caching and shadowing off. Not sure what else we could do ourselves at this point, except maybe force on or off bilinear or trilinear filtering, anti-aliasing, or z-buffering. Then again, I'm not sure what's causing these visual artifacts in the first place. I guess we can look at that more once OB starts.
