Have fun.

If you're genuinely interested in improving UGTO's state of affairs, why not look to your own faction? The largest fleet in DS is perhaps the least active in the MV.

Next time you decide to make a big melodramatic statement, at least make it a sensible one.

well...heavy armor is the same like active shilds

armor makes ICC slow
it makes them more vulnerable

and they think it protects them more against Flux wave.....
But it doesnt

THere isnt any fundamental problem like armor or shields or beams with the ugto. Why is it that ICC was getting our bums kicked before the last patch... and then what happened? Fusion torps tracked. BAM! We were back up there. nothing to do with shielding and the like. I know alot of ICC fleets were on the verge of giving up when we were downhanded in terms of technology as compared to the other factions. UGTO and KLuth frequently walked though our entire system. Yeah we were downhearted, but then many players stepped up, and DESPITE us being down, many leaders shown through, i know SW, TK and our own Larky did a lot of work to get outta this situation. I think maybe ugto just needs to find some of those leader dudes

Both incorrect.

Flux/EMP goes right through shields, crippleing any ICC ship that isn't standard with a full armor.

And I have seen no differance in speed with or without armor, so again, you are incorrect.

You don't wanna play MV, fine, your loss.

I suggest you learn how to fight against the destroyers, rather than fold.

Lose all the silly torp cruisers, and you have a start. EAD is great for killing dessy, if you know how to jump

Try other ships as well. I found that the ICC heavy cruiser is very effective against K'Luth and UGTO dessy, I assume the UGTO equivilent is the same.

Stop playing these silly games, and play THE silly game

Of course, no MoA in MV = easy money for ~L~ w00t!!

Already miss you guys in there... hope you reconsider.

first

STOP THAT FREAKING "LEARN HOW TO FLY"

its getting me pissed

WE TRIED OTHER SHIPS
WE TRIED OTHER MODS

SO BE QUIET ..PLS...THX

To pizza
well we tested the Flux

it rips through armor in the same way like shields
and we dont talk about EMP

The speed should be the same ...im mean the maneuverable

to ramius
well ramius

we have such leaders

we had made stand ups again and again

we were in bernard
we hold then BD luyten lalande maanen ross148 wolf....
and we just had some little planets more then the other factions
but double the systems

next day it was gone

we were in cygnus
holding luyten lalande maanen ross148, ross248
were fighting in cygnus and eps ind
we lost our fights in cygnus...got pushed back ..no matter but we could keep the rest

until next day

and mostly the day after the UGTO Homesystem was capped by another Faction

No other Homesystem is capped that often

what we as UGTO really could need
is a BIG system like eps ind or eps eri

And why does any faction ever want to capp the homesystem???

Mostly we (MoA) want to go system after system
but wait there are big systems in the way to kluth/icc homesys

but NOT to UGTO homesys

so we will loose again

To spectrex

GTN ist the most active Fleet anymore..thats right
But that doesnt matter

To gideon

Well then we will play FA till that patch

Pizza, what the HECK are you talking about?

I've been fluxed at point-blank with shields and barely been phased.

Besides, armor can't be re-directed. And whenever I duel a UGTO dessie (rarely, as of late), the best way to kill it is to wear down the armor on one particular arc, then sink as many torps as possible into it. With an ICC ships, you can't do that, which is why shields are so much more effective.

Plus they're COOL AS HELL!!!

Why? This demand makes no sence. This is not going to happen any time soon.

If it's because they want armour to be more unique to the UGTO, there are already plans to introduce some special armour for UGTO and K'Luth.

If it is because they think that armour is stronger than shields, then they are proceeding under a false assumption.

why is it a one way street gideon...why can icc have a choice of shields or armor but no one else....a shield slot is a shield slot and only sheilds should be able to go there...UGTO ships are smooth and rounded so we can be armored...ICC ships are not so they cant mount it...sound plausible....regardless, either allow the other factions to have the same choice as the ICC or remove their ability to mount amor

Following that logic:

A Beam slot is a beam slot, so let everyone have ELF's

A Beam slot is a beam slot, so let everyone have Flux's

See where we're going with this....?

Faction specific tech is faction specific tech... Deal with it.

You know this is why I play Kluth, not as much whinning. At least from my Fleet. I will play with what I am handed, and deal with it. Learn to play with what you have as an advantage and not piss and moan about it and you might accomplish something great. This is a friggen game people, chill out if it's such a wreck on your life that you must whine constantly about it, perhaps you need therapy? Sheesh I have a five year old who doesn't whine this much when he loses at Pokeman, he tries and build better decks, and win. He learns, Case in point, Kluth fleets know that in most combat situations cloaking is pointless, so we don't. We adapt and carry a fusion 1500 and fly fast ships, we still die oh well. It's a game you hate the way it is don't play. But don't ruin it with the incessant bitching and moaning. Find another hobby, go to the gym and work some of the angst off or something, but quit please. It's so damn annoying to log on and here nothing but complaining.

and you know as long as you have at least 1 system then you can have an entire fleet......

the only reason your complaining is becuase everyone went to ICC after teh patch, becuase they wanted th "Best" ships

I have seen many times when ICC was shortahanded and we whined about the same things you did, becuase everyone wants the best ships it going to be always those people faction hopeing for the new updates and changes to the "best" factions

On strike?

You aren't going to be filling your clan with Scabs until this ends are you? Hanging out infront of your home gate harassing them as they go off to battle...calling them late at night and throwing bricks through the portals in the hull?

Don't suppose you could scrap your planets and let someone else have them then...preferably a clan in your faction that will attempt to defend them...that would seem both logical and fair.

How about making some serious demands while your at it, too? Maybe agree to go back in the MV for half off your subscription? Increase the output of Hydro-Farms and give better training to your infantry.

Strikes are when you stop doing something that you get compensated for. This isn't baseball...we aren't dock-workers. This isn't revolutionary France either. No barricades here...Social reformers don't go on strike for better weapons and less protection for their enemies.

Perhaps you meant a boycott?

Or perhaps you were confusing Darkspace for something more than a game.

Its a little different....a shield slot is a shield slot, an armor slot is an armor slot...thats like putting a dictor in a build slot....

i dont want shields and i usually traget the ICC with armor first....i only think that there is no logic to the ICC being about to put one gadget in the slot of another....and question what is so special about them that they are the only ones with this ability

This feature was added to simply placate the ICC when they where wining thier shields where not powerful enough...then they got active shields...

but this isnt the topic......

About the armor issue, why not restrict the ICC mountable armors to lights?

Seems like a nice compromise, who would care putting lights when they have actives? Other than a drop in signature and energy consumption, you get zilch.
