4 pm US central Time Star Viper Battle Station: Rogue Spear engaged UGTO Assault Destroyer at Ross gate in Sol. The Rogue Spear was a preliminary strike team to an even greater ICC fleet awaiting orders to move in. After destroying the enemy ship the Rogue Spear jumped into open space to set up as a command center. As the ICC forces pulled in the decision was made to make our initial assault on Venus.

Battle Station Rogue Spear was the first vessel in and was met with heavy resistance from an awaiting UGTO fleet. Intelligence reported only light resitance in the sol sector due to heavy losses the UGTO has undergone in previous weeks.

The insuing battle unfolded as both fleets clashed in Venusian space both sides were taking there fair share of kills and losses. The communications officer on board the Rogue Spear reported that the UGTO were going to try a simultaneous assault on the Rogue Spear. This meant certain death for the 12000 plus personel so the Fleet Admiral Spanky made the decision to evacuate all personel to the escape pods and leave only a skeleton crew of section leaders on board.

During the battle the Rogue Spear raked in 3 cruiser kills but was overwhelmed by the vollies of torpedoes that struck her hull. The main reactor exploded causing a catostrophic explosion that destroyed a UGTO dreadnaught and cruiser.

The escape pods entered the Venusian atmoshpere where once on the surface they did what any ICC would do after a battle...get drunk. So the crew made there way to the nearest bar and did just that.

The ICC began to steadily pull back before the onslaught of the UGTO. The battle was a UGTO victory which was a huge morality boost for the population of Sol. For the ICC its been along time since there ass has been handed to them and they will not be beaten so easily next time.

Fleet Admiral Spanky reporting from the depths of hell signing out.

Well, I can understand 2 sorts of fleets:
1. Fleets which belong to a certain faction, til it has been deleted
2. Fleets which change to the under-manned faction (special thx to GER)

I can NOT understand these fleets:
3. Stay out of MV, when their faction needs help (I am NOT pointing at MoA!)
4. Change faction, when their faction is loosing territory, because the hostile fleets are larger

Lucky IMO belongs to #1
