Which explains why I don't see that problem on my machine, cause it's just slow enough that I can't render faster than the VB occurs.
Simply, the problem is has to do with waiting for the verticle blank (aka verticle sync).

I have a P3 450 and a Leadtek GeForce 256 and i also get the glitches.
Lastest detonator without these glitches is the 8.03 (which isn't a good driver for me anyway so i'm going back to 7.97  ).

oh a lot of combos with and without probs.
u. c. FAUSTUS - i did not under-estimate the casus. 
take this and multiply it with 50-100 (hopefully) and you can imagine what will happen then - but im shure you will fix it and i say tnx. again

its a illness i have it too.
hehehehehehe a 3dmark of about 4600 is not nice hehehehe its greater than my grrrr ok ok i will upgrade my system the old 900 mhz system is to slow and this sleeping geforce 2gts is going ti be changed now heheheheheh

well ChaosZ - yes it is some kind of illness - but lock at the result
for the moment there is no way for my TURBO-GT-HYPERSPEED-system to handle the VB-problem
if i had a more slower sys. (like FAUSTUS ) i could (maybee) play DS without problems.
so i have to downgrade the driver`s.
btw. i do it with a GHOST so i can switch from the DS-system to the "normal" in no more than 5 minutes.
btw.2 my system is not sooooo quick - but enough

ok i solve this probs like this . Because im a performance junkie i have 3 PC`s at home one old P200 as Fileserver. one PIII 450 with an TnT2 and my Main Computer with this combination i can try out all new things and are able to play all games at everytime
Ok bumble here is my helping hand for you . Send me your "not Working" Geforce 3 card and i will send yoou a fantastic working TNT2 ??? ok?? nice deal ??????
ok now o will try to serious help you:
my 5 years as a PC supporter should help
what mainboard do you have ?
try to set the AGP to 2x mode(not4x)in Bios
make sure that an IRQ is assigned to VGA Card (and best not the IRQ 9 ) .
look for the shadow ram / Video ram options if diaabeld enable them . (one of the less options who offer speed AND stability).
If not call me via ICQ or so and we will try more ........ my brian will get damage if i have to write more english words

i am on a P3 900 320mb ram and 64mb ddr radeon, i get flickers and strange lines all over the place, i dont find the annoyance worth it, i can use my buttons or i get LOADS of lines all over, i have tha latest radeon drivers, and latest drivers for every other single peice of my computer. I will wait for a fix for this before continuing playing. Sweet game, but its not worth putting in my old voodoo3 everytime i want to play, and im not leaving it in, cause it sucks.
