I contantly have the game lockup my PC. any ideas what could be causing it? Also i seem to get more and more server disconections lately.........

I had the same lockup probs with DEUS EX but after upgrading drivers the probs were gone. I think you should search for other drivers or try a bios upgrade of your graphics card if possible.
But be careful with that.

problem is the next drivers up have HEAVY glitches in DS. Seems to be a geforce chipset problem

Hmm let me think...
Did you already try standard procedure??
I mean:
1.) Turning of AGP 4x in BIOS
2.) Enabling IRQ for VGA (probably already is)
...
Btw. who manufactured the card??
Edit: You don't have the Creative SB Live 1024, do you??
Second Edit: Hui, I'm really engaged in this 
OK I looked up the Hercules Page and I found a Bios Update for your graphics card there from the 8th of June. I think you should try this and when you have the Nvidia Geforce 2MX chipset on your card you should either try Detonator Version 6.50 or 12.41.
As mentioned above, be careful when updating the bios.

I have the same Prob with the grafiks and i tested the 12.41 / 12.90 drivers.
