OK since you're not really including a lot of information that is help full, try a full reboot and turn off your firewall

Ofcourse it just so happens that your computer or for that matter DS stops working right after that fight with KC or something like that.. I always think his name is like KFC .. whatever...hmm maybe he attacked you with a virus.. or maybe I did it.. MUHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

Well, are you still in need of help?
If so have you tried any of the suggestions allready posted?
Also if all fails re install DS, but it sounds like a firewall or something blocking the connection on your end.
Post back saying if you have corected or not plz, thx
