I love the idea of a story contest but these story's are all over the place.
I suggest you ppl open up a temp story forum where ONLY story's can be posted.
This makes it also easier to search and judge them.

Why Temp?
Why not make a "Library Forum" where people can post stuff related to the DarkSpace History.
The Forum mods would delete Stories, Pics, etc what doesnt fit in Gids history or just make no sense at all.
But for example stories behind a clan name could be posted there to.
Game with a huge history that you can read are a lot better then 1 with only a one page hist.

The rules for the forum will be, posting player storys and content, NO replys to messages... start a new one, and no flaming... you can discuss the stories in other forums....
So what should it be called if I make it?

I suggest you do it on a system similar to the Scripting forums. If a player has a story, he messages someone, and is then given permission to post on that forum.

Well... I think its partially just because of the contest that there are so many popping up. I think we will have fewer after the competition is over.
(Little Note: People are supposed to EMAIL these to me [shigernafy@dsvault.com], not just post them in the forum, if they want them considered...)
Also, we're looking for a more suitable solution - a section on the webpage - to host such submissions.... but that must be programmed first, so its still a bit off.
In the meantime, if something needs to be created around here, I guess that would work.. gives us a bit of a supply to work with when the real spot for it arrives..

Well a Story forum wold be usefull anyway.
Even when the contest is over some people Might wanna keep on writing anyway.
And wehn Ds grows in the future there might be a huge increase in people who want to write stories, make movies, faction banner, ect.
And hey it can always be deleted if it becomes useless.

I know Shigernafy. I will indeed post my entry via email closer to the date. However, alot of us are posting in the forums to get feedback from a larger audience, i guess so we can better our stories.
Anyway, good luck to all, and yes a Fan Fiction Forum we be perfect.
