Chapter 1: Discovery
The small fleet of ICC ships were exploring when they came upon an extremely rare anomaly and wished to establish a post to observe it in the long term. Just when they were about to send a message back to the ICC High Command when Ensign O'Brian said, "Captain, I'm reading fluxuating levels of energy emitting from the anomaly, it seems to be on an interval of 5 seconds between the time it starts and stops."
"Keep an eye on it and tell me if something arises."
"Aye Captain."
It was just after these words that this anomaly released an enormous wave of radiation that disabled the entire fleet's ships and killed all systems except auxillary power and life support.
"Damage Report Lieutenant Groves," the Captain Crusher said after feeling the blast.
"I do not know, sir. The computer system is down."
"Captain Crusher to Engineering."
"1st Lieutenant Kineky here,"
"Kineky I want that computer back online A.S.A.P priority 1, then get impulse power online and then repair the tachyon drive."
"Yes sir!"
"When can I expect this to be done?"
"Within the next 3 hours, sir."
"Good, Crusher out. 2nd Lieutenant Burns once the tachyon drive is repaired get us out of here and get back to the Orion Starbase for repairs."
"Roger that sir."
It was at this point in which the Captain left the bridge to go to his ready room. "Number 1 you have the bridge."
"Burns I want updates on the status of the tachyon drive every 15 minutes, if the computer system isnt up by the time I need an update I'll ask engineering," Commander Monty said forcefully.
