I think that IT could really use more damage, and the accuracy could also use a boost, but not so much that cant be avoided altogether.
Oh, and flak isnt even close to a high-speed machine gun. Thats a phalanx, which is used for AA. Flak is known as Anti-Air Artillery because of its slow fire rate.

| The only thing close to a "high speed machine gun" would be flak, and that ISNT fast. Other than that, high speed weapons are very ineffective against missiles; most anti-missile guns fire a round every two seconds; because its more effective than spitting out rounds without any hits. |

Not true at all. The US Navy uses two main systems to destroy incoming missiles. The Aegis missile system and Phalanx CIWS (aka. the "metal wall"), Close-In Weapon System, for when any missiles get too close for anti-missile missiles. The CIWS is basically the fastest firing gun you will ever see; firing Sabot rounds at the two selectable speeds of 3000 or 4500 rounds per minute, controlled by the Aegis system.
In between those, either missiles or the CIWS, is the 5-inch guns, capable of putting out a round every 5 seconds or so. But the chance of those guns to shoot down any missiles is very low. Most flak cannons are very slow firing and used almost exclusivly on aircraft because of the greater chance of a hit due to the relatively slow speed of jet aircraft. Flak rounds simply explode and send fragments in every direction and through anything in the way (fuel lines, electrical lines, metal, etc). A small missile travelling at Mach-4 will not get hit that often by fragments. Only a direct hit by a missile or hard rounds will destroy a missile with reliability.

the accuracy is ok now i feel but the damage, ammo and firing rate of the IT missile could use some change

I'm okay with the damage and the accuracy, to be honest. What I would REALLY like to see is higher ammo counts, 20 at least.

If you are in a plane and you are flying through a hostile area, make sure you sit in a SR-71, too fast to hit for anything
