Ok, this does have to do with scripting, because I would like to do something in PHP with it  ...
Ok, now:
I want to be able to conenct sockets and tell the server something like /players//list/ or something and it reponds with the player list and /planet//list/... so now, I would like to know if this is possible. If so, I would like to know what protocol (UDP,TCP, etc...) to use and what port to use. Thanks for the help...

There are currently no sockets available for the type of application you are talking about. All game server/system ports are special/custom, and require a custom client to connect and get info from.
You may be able to get something via scraping pages from the web site, but that is all right now.
