I have an extremely annoying problem that I can't seem to find any other post on. Everytime I want to play, I have to reinstall the game, since this takes a long time to redownload all the update files (I only have a 56k connection) I get frustrated. The program runs great after the reinstall until I restart my computer. The game will lock up after I connect to a server, specifically, it seems to lock when the Palestar spash screen should start, any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

hm, strange one..
you might try to uninstall darkspace once more, remove ALL entries concerning darkspace&palestar from your registry.. and install it again..

What OS are you usein ? Win98, WinME, WinXP?
What version IE are you useing?
Also why redownload if all you have to do is reinstall why not use the same installer?

Well.....in response to the replies...I don't redownload the entire software, but everytime I reinstall, the client downloads files, once when I first log on and another time before switching to the splash screen.
Also, though I have been playing some as Patrowsky noticed...the problem is still not resolved. I will try to remove all Darkspace and Palestar entries in the registry and reinstall. I appreciate the help.

at least i can help u with the updatingorgie.
after installation and updating copy the whole folder to another location and after reinstalling overwrite the fresh installation with the backup.
