I was wondering if im allowed to give my 5 day coupon away, i dont need.
Im subbed and i have enough money to pay for my sub, the coupon would be a waste.
Might just as well give it to a fleet member who doesnt have any cash for his subscription.
Will this person get banned for doing so?

You can't... it just won't work for any other account except yours... basically, your User Id is stored in the coupon record in our database.
Just hang onto it for a rainy day, you can not use it for now, in fact if you lose it, you can re-request from the web site.

those 5-days coupons are reserved for your account... not sure how Faustus would handle this case of "abuse"..

Come on, your smarter than that bart... (i.e. player X creates 20 accounts, get's 20x5 coupons worth 100 days of DarkSpace, redeems them all in his main account)

sounds like i need to get rid of mine too
saw in the news post that its one per customer, which i assume mean one per human player, rather than one per account
my beta account just got a 5-day coupon, i rarely use my beta account
so FireMoth here really out not have a coupon. i doubt he(i) will ever use it and according to the news post i shoulnd have more than one anyways

It's going to be hard to enforce the one per customer rule... but we will try to stop anyone who is abusing the system by creating a new account everytime their 5-day trial is up...
The point of a free 5 days, is to get new players a chance to really try out the entire game... so they are just stuck on the newbie server with a bunch of other low-level ships.
Not much I can do, to stop existing subscribers from using the 5-day coupon... I wish they wouldn't, but it wouldn't be fair to deny them either... we really need to money at this point, as things are very tight.

well i created a lobbyghost to work the forum/checking the beta on a different machine and playing on the other and redeemed the trial and if u believe it or not instead of going with my mainaccount into the game i use the new one and had insane fun trying to get enough points to get the better ships/badges by jumping cruisers and dreads with a frig/destroyer (the only other way is to reset the other which i won't do of cause).
as soon as the 5-day-trial is over ill subcribe the new one as well; the 2nd account is worth $9.95 (= 1 large 2-topping pizza) being an n00b.
