Is there any prerequisite languages I should learn first before learning lua? I'm only a beginning programmer as of now....

No, but just the basic concept of any programming language will help.

LUA is fairley easy....atleast in the 3 line extent i used it

I would stick with Lua since you want to write your own scripts within DS. But you might think about branching out to C or C++. Also Pascal is a very good language to learn also.
