This just dawned on me:
Instead of having these announcement messages causing your chatbox to explode, why not have a flashing popup appear instead, which automatically disappears after about 15 - 30 minutes (in case one is afk and multiple announcements appear)?

Well as i told the DEV team i personally preffer the screen to flash brightlyfrom red to pink and back to red again over and over and also to have the REALY bonecrushing high pitch alarm sound....
they got almost all rdy but till then they figured the exploding chat box would be enough to catch your attention...

Just a note, bumping a thread the same day you post it is a sure fire way to get it deleted...
No reason to bump it, if people dont respond to it, apparently they didnt find any merrit in it.
