dont mind shooting and being shot by ships I can see.but sheesh.was under attack by 3 ghost ships today..whats the deal?

since when does UGTO EAD have cloak?I know a UGTO from Kluth....unlike some newbs.

That's rather odd. I also encouter a few UTGO EAD ghost ships as well. I was shooting for ages at one of them and they don't seem to be taking any damage....but they just suddenly unleash their beams and blew me away..

Could it be ECM? but they don't "pulse".... maybe a bug?

Thats funny cause when I fly an EAD sometimes it will all of a sudden go from 100% sheilds down from anywhere 50%-20%

sometimes after exiting a JG i would see some icc ships just sitting there.

i would shoot them, they would take sometimes quite considerable damage, then jump away without returning fire.

i assume that this is because of lag...... and that they are not actually there.... yet they still take the damage

Yes, these are caused by lag can be found, though not exclusively, at Jump Gates with heavy traffic. I am assuming you are refering to the ships that have no targetting diamonds, of course. Usually, only you can see them and shoot them, though they never die. I tried, just for giggles, once. With an Assault Dread on a Stationary UGTO Dread that was just sitting at a planet.

My Team thought I was insane because they could not see what I was shooting at. However, I could clearly see: A) the Dread. B) my weapons impacting on the dread and not the planet behind it.

I just ignore them now. But, yesterday in Sol, around the Sol-Side, Delta-Pavalonis Gate, the number of Phantom ships was soo overwhelming that I could not hit the Real enemy ships that were camping there...not to mention, the splash damage from my Torps hitting these Phantom ships caused me damage. The enemy, who did not see these ships, had no problems targetting me, and even though I saw their munitions hit the Phantom ship between me and them, I still took damage. My shots, which hit the Phantom ships (there were 2 MD's, and a couple Cruiser ghosts all sitting right near the gate...really annoying) on the way towards the enemy, did not good.

So there, no one else can see them but you...and you are insane.
