Nit pick!
The tower on ICC ships is actually the communications array. Bridges are completely internal to the superstructure to a starship.
But, since nobody actually told anyone that before, there was no way for you to know.

He used Photoshops glowing edges function, and then restricted the color channels to white and blue.

Yeah, I just can't bring myself to accept the Star Trek "bridge exposed to enemy fire" type of ship construction. I'm surprised they don't just phaser/torp the bridge into oblivion the first chance they get.
