let me put an analogy that a lot More people will understand.
Blockade runner (Correllian corvett) and "medical frigate" (Nebulon class frigate) are aprox the size of "frigates" in darkspace.
Dreadnaughts and Carrack class cruisers are the equivelant of destroyers in darkspace
the "Mon Cal Cruisers" and "Star Destroyers" are the "cruiser" class in darkspace
and the "super star destroyers" are the dreadnaughts.
methinks a GA ship would be a "Star destroyer mark II" which is relativly same size and hull, but with better technology and more weapons. also its faster and carrys more fighters. this is also reffered to as "Imp Star Deuce"
