I think it would be cool to be able to buy extra item slots for the ships when modding. Like a rear weapon, an extra special slot, things like that. It would make the game better cause you won't know what the enemy ships have on it, almost everyone here already knows how each ship can be modded and attacks accordingly. But if we could buy extra slots, people might think before they attack. It would make the game very interesting.

It would create pretty bad balance issues though unless they had a weight limit or limited power rating (like cl2k's have to have a base power supply of x that only a larger ship can supply) I would hate to see a bomber with bomb slots in double figures bombing a planet. Poor planet. But apart from that I would like that alot.
