Basically, you cant force anyone to do something. If a group of people wants to have a truce, but another player does not, he is free to attack the members of the truce of the opposite faction. These can in return kill him or whatever they like. If a truce member of the same faction fires on him however, that is not allowed. You can tell the player you have a truce, but if he chooses to ignore that, just let the enemy handle it and step back, as Meko described.

Actually if a person is being particularly annoying, you can tractor him into a planet at no cost to FF. Just try to do it when he isnt paying attention or seems afk and jump out of there fast and hope noone saw.

Thank you for answering my questions, I hope the patch with the allies comes out soon. I understand that TBone was within his rights and now knw how to handle the situation. I can't help feel though any player that takes advantage of a truce set in place to attack wounded ships of a opposite faction fleeing to your space for repairs should be shot. I cant say that if a member of the truced fleet is at 20 or 30 hull and being killed by a jerk I wont help him get away. Its a gentlemans agreement as stated and Honor will not alow it. Hopefully i can take the FF for him maybe not time will tell. All I hear about on DS is honor honor honor well i intend to uphold it. I hope that patch comes out soon

You should use your imagination.
An anonymous assistant and I - or maybe I was the assistant - we had an unnamed station moving at the rate of 4gu/sec solely from Tractor pushing it. I recall getting it out a few thousand GU before we arranged to WH it into empty space just in case somebody came to visit.

if you really dont want them to shoot a player you have a truce with, simply blok his shots
