Cant connect gameservers with a laptop |

I have a new laptop but i cant connect to a gameserver because he is searching for DX8 and thats al he does i have no problems with my desktop computer.
Somebody have a solution let me know

what kind of Vid-Card is installed onboard??
which version of the driver??
does DX-Diag. report any problems??
do you play other games than DS on it?? / any problems there??

Hi m8,
Operation system you use?
Grafic card?
- Run Dxdiag, what kind grafic card you have and install last drivers
- Check if you have all windows updates, after you install anyting new about grafics dont forget run Darkspace setup.
try delete data files at darkpace data directory and after that reboot your comp run ds click on red dimon update again.
Catch me online we can try fix problem.
(darkspace can runs at laptops)i have one laptop and ds runs vry fine
