Not to be a pest or anything but it's been two days and still no beta (as far as I can tell)...I'm not complaining or anything, I know these things take a LOT of time but can we get an update on how it's coming?
(Note: I put that "as far as I can tell" thing in there because for all I know the server might be up and my computer jsut doesn't see it...it's kind of weird that way...so if the beta is up and running, please disregard this post)

Check again, Binks... your beta client should update. The server just isn't up yet.

probably around 10 percent of the people here truly understand what Faustus said (i am not among them), but thanks for the effort Faustus even if we dont seem appreciative of your efforts all the time we really do appreciate it.
On another note i got a newsletter from from a tech magazine (part of my efforts to become more versed in the underlying technology, not very sucessful thus far i must admit).It said something in there about XP's service pack 2 might cause custom applications to crash (insert random techno babble here) there is a seperate update available from microsoft to fix this but you have to install seperately or something , im really not sure. anyway probably not revelant anyway, but it just sounded like faustus was doing some custom work ...or something.
