I was thinking.... maybe fleets could set a time for new recruits that wish to join, like a little contract forcing them to stay in the fleet if they wish to join for a certain amount of days, before they get the option to leave, and after they sign that agreement, they cannot leave the fleet, unless that time is up, no matter what.

Same with creating a fleet, it should have a set time for new fleets.... like a month before the leader can leave, or disban the fleet.

Because, this way, people will actually think about joining a fleet, and not just join any fleet they want and leave the next day and go to a different one.

Just an idea... I'll add more if I think of anything.

it would deffinatley cut down on the fleet hoppers, and make them stay long enough to maybe get to know the fleet a bit more. i like the idea m8, and id like to see it in action. even for a short period of time.

Very good idea indeed but i have a minor variation to it...


Have a contract type but, if the person wants out they can get out, at a price or conquence.... such as credits lost or ships taken away.... something like that, or a blemish on the profile/record
