  • With the reduced server usage with the interdictor fix, AI trannys disappearing, and .482 being released, along with other fixes, will it be possible for the Dev team to put cloud bombing, with multiple bombs, reloaded from supply ship, back in the game?

With the lag patch working, and many other fixes supposedly cutting down on server/CPU usage, why can a small event not prevalent (read: not happening constantly, like a spawned asteroid field would be), be instituted back in the game? Who doesn't miss huge, unstoppable clouds of bombs,, rolling towards a planet like a locomotive, waiting to purge the popultation like Aspargus does to Rogue Spear's colon?

  • Defense bases could all be increased in power--not offensively, but defensively. Put a few extra beams on a defense base, and, if the rumblings I have heard about upping the count of structures on a planet are true, this would be enough to adequately defend aginst a lone bomber---add one or more bomber, and support, and any planet or planets standing would be toast.

this is a great idea, it would give the ugto command dread a purpose again...i mean after they stopped the ability to cloud bomb properly its only real use has been to uise them in mass numbers with lots of ecm, can be effective but still nothing special.

I loved cloud bombing...but you'd have to look away from planets with shields because everyone looking at the planet would crash for some reason.

Cloud bombing is gone.

We've already been spending time on balancing bombing without it.

Sorry, but it's not coming back.
