Daft suggestion but could the Fighters be made better...More dammage, better strength/durability. Then reduce there numbers. Have a quality over quantity. Think in reality who in their right minds would jump into a fighter that could get swatted the way they do. Increase the potential of the fighter but then decrease the numbers. Longer reload times less fighter bays etc.

Well there are new fighter on the drawing board.

Now as far as i heard from Gideon's talk he and the DEV team have managed to reduce the Poly's on the new fighters significantly thus making sure each fighter will produce less load and thus less lag.
Soooo in the end we will end up with same ammount of fighters... more firepower, and less lag
