One resultof testing new graphic handling. unfortunately its hard to stay alive long enough to really see how they do.. maybe i need an ead and a depot planet to sit at while i get shot up and someone else moves.

My average FPS througout my testing was about 50-60 fps. Good improvement from the last time I tried this in 1.482 beta.

ALT Tabbing out and back into the game causes a huge decrease in performance, is usualy fixed by logging out and back in.

Tommorow when i see you we can try that out, we gotta cycle thru the maps but if we can get a good cluster then we can make a pretty good fighter test *just stuff em *

then ill be happy to fly with/against you during the mayhem

Tested with 13 level 3 fighter bases, my FPS was about 15-25, and I had no lag whatsoever. Contrast that with the current release version where a planet with 5 fighter bases will cause me a LOT of lag. Seems to be a good improvement, great work F

between ahaza an junction i had twenty lvl2 fighter bases along wit sixteen lvl1s lag problems and my fps were mucho better compared to v.482, actually as far as lag there wasnt any i could zoom around the planets in the tranny without losing any control watsoever.

Very big improvement as i have a cruddy 1.3 ghz pc running on a mx440 gforce card, nice job Faustito

I'm sure we all remember the last Beta where people were praising lack of lag and graphical slowdown from fighters, right?
