And yes, wormholes can open inside planets.

cant really do anything about a jump cruser when u r in a station. 2 Hives and a Shroom died today cause of JC. And they each lost around 200press.
Also you cant come after the JC when it goes on a suicide run (wh'ing the station into a sun and then jc going into the wh itself)
Simply put, wh shld be only avalable on stations and not fast moving ships. Am glad this is being fixed in beta.

Three things.
1) Its a JUMP CRUISER! Its good for one thing, making wormholes... now hmmmm....
2) Quote:

| And they certainly got what they deserved... Sun gets the kill in this situation.
3) Nothing is more fun than finding some poor AFK faction mate (clanmate if possible!) and sending them off to... oh I dunno... Sag Hotha?
Just some thoughts for ya...

If this is such an exploit then why aren't every ICC in a JC?
Hmmmmm, hey that's a good idea, .
Really, it is not an exploit like flux. Which everyone and his mother have modded on to their ships. JC is faction specific but just how many ICC have flowen them at the same time. Compared to flux being on any and every ship it seems.
So moral of my story is JC is ICC, ICC=good.
Flux=bad.
Now I gotta try this JC stuff, cool.

I remember when i used the wh device to transport stations into the middle of nowhere. i never sent them into the sun, always' somewhere remote.

The problem with just sending a station somewhere "remote" si the station can normally turn around, and come back. And if you make the WH for anything smaller, you've only lost him for a very short amount of time.
The trick is to send him A) to a sun, or B) to somewhere REALLY nasty, like a big scary cluster i.e. Umbrella. Then he cannot turn his sorry butt around and come back and kill you.
Also, if you are flying at speed, the Jump Cruiser pilot has to be VERY careful of his speed, as too fast and he will simply go through the hole as well as his target. Not a good idea if the WH exit is in a sun. Once, I remember clearly, we were PCM'ing UGTO planets, and an EAD found our little force, and was harassing us. I sent him to the nearest star, but ended up there myself.
Another thing to consider is how often WHs fail. The star you send the target to has to be large to kill the target, else he will just sit on the edge and be thankful for life. But if you make the target too close to the center of the star, it will fail. It is important to find that happy medium in the range needed.
