I noticed that cloaking takes about a second per signature point ...is this the way it was intended? cause i was in a friendly cluster with sensor bases in an engineer and had 40 sig it took 40 seconds to cloak.seems a little long to me.If this was intentional then disregard this post.

i like the cloak now it is.
atm, cloaking results in you not being detected at all... But at a price, if you decloak you have to wait for it to sig level you at 0.0. If it didnt have this, Kluth would just decloak. attack and then cloak again and repeat.

Im not saying delay is bad just in a high sig enviroment 40 seconds for a small ship is not only an eternity ...it's death.

to be fair

the cloaking time should be depending on shipsize to

so
small ships = lesser time to cloake

large ships = more time to cloake

is this possible

note that as it is

small ships also have a problem power wise to run the cloake at so much as 1/3 of its max speeds without losing power even with installed reactors and ame drives.

could cloake power consumtion should be based on ship size to

it seams illlogical that the cloake on scouts / frigates use same amount of power as on station/dreds

Do cloaks have levels? If not they should, high-level should be faster cloak more power drain and lower levels longer timer but less drain. That'd help a bit would it not? That or scouts/frigs should spawn with cloak level 8's (or maybe a "heavy cloak" with fast cloak and low drain, unequippable on dessies or higher)
