so aux shield gens provide some additional defence in and of themselvs then?

cannt swap out the shields on the ICC support station... cannt transfer shield power from main bateries to aux baterys (unable to test the other way round do to the above and below bugs)...
SY and SP nolonger worked after attempting to transfer shield power around useing the num pad... able to select both SP and SY useing short cut keys or mouse click in F3 and F1 mode however the command to dock would not work and the buy menu failed to show when attemping to use the SP (i could sell items though)...
may be me... been haveing problems lately... main being every time i run the beta client it downloads the same 12.4mb every time... tryed uninstall - download - reinstall (including running the uninstaller in the DL) didnt fix... will try again after a bit of sleep

I suppose this is a bug. With no power and no workers the dictor on planets still works and its gotten me killed several times. So i just thought i would put my word in.

plays first track (ds1.mp3) fine, while loading. moves on to the second track (doesnt seem to matter just which track the second one is), and loops it
so release side it goes

the orange flares fx for proton torps get annoying fast. they'd work better as an impact effect of some sort (ala qst, ic and si), but not as a small moving object. they also obscure the torpedo itself, which can be as bad for the shooter as the target. orange/green doesnt really work as a color scheme either, can we have our blue torps back?

Proton should be kept as white...Fusion Red and AM green-red-yellow mixture...(different glow to F torps though)
Makes it easier to distingish if your colour blind (like me).

Contrail Separation
When ships move at high speed, their contrails become separated from the ship model. This effect is more pronounced depending on how fast the ship is moving (the higher the speed, the more separation.) This effect is barely noticable for large ships such as dreadnoughts, but readily apparent on small, fast ships, and extremely noticable while jumping.
This occurs on all ships as far as I know, though I have not tested all hulls to verify.
