Anyone else getting popups made to go around browser built in popup blocker from media*.fastclick.net ?
It is really pissing me off. I added about 50 lines to my host file dedicated to servers I know they are using to give me popups and ones I am guessing since they all use the same naming scheme.

media##.fastclick.net

Can you use wildcards in your hostfile? I sure hope so... I want to permabanzor that site from my PC. It is pissing me off so bad! Kill that site! Kill it I say! >:( We should all gather around and send malformed ICBM packets at their servers. >:(

Spybot, AdAware, Firefox with Adblock. Your ad problems will be solved forever.

I'm using Opera. It doesn't support active X, and I have spybot with both teatimer and that other thing turned on. I have MS antispyware beta installed, and spywareblaster which disables active X that prevents installs crap like that.

IEw/ Google Toolbar, Spybot & Ad-Aware.

Popups? What are those?

[Edit]BTW, fastclick is a resident adware program IIRC, never found any of their actual popups from anything other than the crap my bro DLs.

Absolutely NOTHING on my computer. They are using advanced browser hacks to negate my browsers popup block. Probably does it in firefox as well.

and BTW I don't give a hoot about tracking cookies. most are harmless.
