Man, this is a sad day indeed. [SYN] was the first fleet I was ever a part of in Darkspace. Armand, you taught me a lot about combat throughout my time in Darkspace and I shall never forget. I hope to catch you around in other games.

I have to agree completely with Nax. If you're not having fun playing, stop. Take a break, it can really refresh you and stop you getting too involved, focussing on the annoying aspects (and there's a few to focus on). It may be that you don't feel like coming back, or it takes a long time to lose the bitterness. The longer you go without taking a break and keeping perspective, the longer it will take to get rid of the negative image.
Also try not to get caught up in the 'back in the day...' syndrome.
There's another online game I played for years, on and off taking breaks when needed. It had a lot of problems, bugs rollbacks downtime were big issues, but was great fun and we were a tight community. Revisiting it I almost found myself (and a lot of vets have been) saying "it's gone so downhill" and was "so much better 3-4 years ago". However looking at the game, it's got less bugs, better balanced and fewer rollbacks. Still it seemed less fun, because most of the people I knew there had left (as I had, at least stopped playing) after a series of unfortunate events where we lost a lot of players.
The game isn't dead, there's just many new faces and less old, and due to that it lost its spark for me. Perhaps of course I'll play it again sometime, a lot of the older players are coming back and playing again. Many just needed a long break

Not that I know of - we're not really in the habit of editing posts unless they're really way out there. You remeber if you went MeDiEvAl on somebody?

Well Mr T.. had hell of a roundabout ride, sucks to know I wont be able to lob beer at ya anymore and have you bitch slap me for it...
Not to mention all the others times, issues, problems and god knows what we talked about.
