Shall we just drop everything up to Commander down to Midshipman? I don't mean to be rude... but why exactly should we cater to the unsubscribed crowd? Its not like they're.. oh, I don't know, subscribing.
I would agree if new players didn't get coupons. Otherwise, the majority of unsubs are old players who aren't paying - not new people trying the game out.
I'm alright with tweaking a bit, sure.. but I'm not going to drop a type of every ship to midshipman just to please those of you who are not ever going to subscribe and want to still be able to do everything you can while paying.

if unsubscribed people can't do ANYTHIng but sit in scouts and attack in newbie, whats the point of newbie? do subscribed people have to build up planets for n00bs now? who's gonna want to do that with prestige gain off?
thats all i'm asking.
