I was thinking of adding some more variety into missiles ... and i came to:

we got various engines in game, what about add "higher" level missiles able lock only on certain type of ship's engines? (like IE, AFE. AME, PFE etc) ...

there missiles will be faster, more agile, hiting harder but of course limited by engine type they can lock on ...

interesting.

thought with that kind of limitation i wouldnt mount them.

However, so far we've only got really one "type" of missle.

target, shoot, cylender goes flying, connection *boom*.

why not add say... a cluster missile? or a EMP missile?

or some futuristic sidewinder style missiles... shoot one, 1000gu later it splits into two and is super manouverable....

or a big slow one flys till its a distance away from target, then blows up and a buncha mines fall out....

that kinda stuff would be exiting =)
