Much like the ICC's Railguns and the Kluths PSI Cannons this weapon would be used to Damage the ships Hull, Hense Phase Shifters, Now i know its uber however we need a divertive tactic so the nosey Uggies and ICC wont follow us back in to the Wormhole so the Phase Cannons could Disable the Ships Engines as well as the Tach/AMJ Drives hehe


The ship that should have this would have to be the Beak, and the Probiscis. because their fast enough to damage the ship without getting damage themselves because for 1 their faster than the scout craft because they have 2 engines. its just an idea i came up with hehe

If your retreating you shouldnt need this as your cloaked. Theres also no human equivilant. Its VERY unbalanced, and wouldnt be used in defence, you'd get pilots using it to absolutly desimate other ships.

I was thinking of a bomb that could EMP planets. It hits, and knocks out power to the structures for some determined amount of time. Of coure, like bios and other weapons, the damage would be determined by the amount that hit. Maybe half of the def bases and other structurs close to ground zero go offline for 30 - 45 secs. gives the Kluth a chance to uncloak in semi safety near an enemy rock, and gives the tranny at least a half of a chance to get in and drop, though it would still take some damage from the active defense, and probably couldn't make it to the planet in a half minute.

Also, Kluth really needs a good second option for the Psi cannons.

Oh. And will Kluth tech still be Kluth tech? I can mod psi cannons, psi missles and shredders on a BD. And I'm not sure which, but somebody was using light rupters the other day in a frigate. Not sure which faction or ship.

please make luthy teck, Luthy teck. just like flux is UGTO only and shields are ICC only. (pulse beams too)

and i wasnt aware shredder missiles were luth, so i modded em to test =)

maybe a luth adept like beast or az, should write us a list of all the luth tech they think should be faction only.

...The K'luth have been observed to primarily employ hit-and-run strikes against the humans, although massive fleets have been seen engaged in direct confrontations with valiant human defense forces. It is thought that the K'luth may have evolved from a sea predator accustomed to lying in ambush for its prey. Part of the fear associated with the mention of the K'luth is their psychic power. Although human science has yet to explain these phenomena, the K'luth appear to be able to use their ships to shape their thoughts into weapons! Their psi-missiles are terrifying. Normal sensors cannot detect these projectiles. The scanner device is the only hope for a human fleet under assault by psi-missiles.....

It would seem to me that these things should still be in effect.
Psi weapons, when looked at in light of this description, should be ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE for humans to use. Also, I am not aware that the psi missles are still hidden w/o a scanner.

Also, from what I saw yesterday, the UGTO's ability to use pulse lasers should be nerfed as well. If it is a defensive attribute to the ICC, then it should be off limits to the other factions.

I am not aware of any human technology that can be used by Kluth atm, either, so allowing the use of SPECIALIZED Kluth tech only creates a new imbalance.

Again. That's just my honest opinion.

ICC tech in icc, ugto in ugto, and luth in luth.

Doesn't matter if they are ICC tech, they are ICC tech.
Which means that the UGTO and Kluth shouldn't have them

All I know is Kluth need something my BD was doing a number on a Nest last night [mind you i was only UGTO and planet had no def] why was Nest not doing much to me? Because I had lvl 10 reflective armour now if you ask me when a Nest of all things is getting slapped around and PCs are going through its armour like its got paper on I think the Kluth need something new anything new. I mean sheesh a battle station shouldn't get slapped around by one I repeat one ship I just dont think its right.

yeah but EMP cannons kill systems when at zero armor or shields Phase Disruption Cannons Kill systems while the shields are still up think about it

I know exactly how to improve this idea...

Instead of a weapon that fires, lets have a device that allows you to target an enemy ship and press "crtl+x" twice to delete them!
