Uh why cant a noob get a Engy?? this makes no sense at all. It,s one of the First things anyone should learn.
Secondly why is it that UGTO Noobie players can get a decent frigate right off the bat"interceptor" and yet ICC noobies can just get a silly sensor frigate and a Kluth Noobie can get no access to a frigate at all??????????

Same reason why they can't get a supply ship....I thought that noobs were suppose to begin in engies and supply ships to reinforce the more experience players??

Also Kluth Noob only has access to 2 scouts while both of the other factions can access all scouts

Well lets see many players complained about new players not being able to build properly and messing up planets, so they implored Gideon to raise the rank on the engies to keep new players from messing up the planets.
Now that you got what you asked for, you wanted it changed again?

The basic supply ship should be lowered down to Midshipman then.
This way newbies can get decent prestige by playing a non-intrusive supply role that will put them in battle and show them how to fight by following better players.

I don't mind the eng being Ensign or higher but the lowest supply ship on all factions should be Midshipman. At least THEN new players can get pres and at least to help the more exp. players right now.

Word, why was this never considered?
I'm all for the engy requiring Ensign (hell, make it Lt Comm!), but having supply not be a newbie ship seems... well to be honest, pointless.
