downloaded and installed the newest client, for the free trial offer. when i load the game, i can play the tutorial, but when i press lobby, the window closes and then nothing happens?
System:
AMD 64 3400
eVGA GeForce 6800 ultra (Forceware 77.30 drivers)
Windows XP sp2
Direct X 9.0c

open your darkspace folder and try running gcql.exe instead of darkspace.exe (what your shortcut points to), and if/when you do get into the lobby, press the update button, some things dont always get updated when you log in

If you used the default install settings try going to "Start > Run" and typing
C:Program FilesPaleStarDarkSpacegcql.exe

ok, tried running GCQL.exe and got ERROR: could not find BCGCB551.dll

I downloaded an older version and installed it over the new 1.483. It connects to the lobby just fine now.

OK, I'll fix the installer tonight... aparently I forgot to include that DLL.
