Could someone tell me the Damage numbers?

Shouldnt the HCL/CL be the most damaging weapn up Close?
Somehow i feel seriously outgunned everytime a kluth dread mauls my armor and i cant even bring his down up close.

I always need loads of Torpedos just to break the Armor, not counting in the Issue of very limitet ammo (25... COME ON, 25?!) and at some point plain stupid Arcs. (EAD rear torpedoes for example...).

I dun want Ruptors nerfef, i just want CL/HCL beefed up accordingly so i can do the same to them what they do to me, at least at close range.

Well, Ruptors are meant for Hit then Cloak...Not Stay and fire constantly. In the long game and HCL would beat a DA

Sorry, reality proves you wrong.

The HCL's damage is pathetic, especialy since im firing 5 of em point blank, it not even takes down a cruisers armor.
Another Point is: you cant have drawn out fights with kluth for 2 reasons:

1.) Kluth sneak away.
2.) Even if they do, the Only HCL Heavy Ship, the EAD runs out of Steam (energy) way too fast to support constant laser fire.

HCLs do the same damage as Disruptor Assaults, but they have damage degradation while Disruptors don't.
SCLs do the same damage as Disruptors, but they have damage degradation while Disruptors don't.

Disruptor Assaults got SEVERELY nerfed with the 1.483.4 patch, they now take 7 time more energy to recharge (11.3 energy each at L8) and take alot longer to recharge than in 1.483.3 (now 30+ seconds to recharge).

Also, K'luth can't sneak away because of Beacons, ECCM pinging, Navmap Bug and cloaking/decloaking timers.
So now we have no chance in a prolonged fight, we can't hit and run, and we have high energy problems.

HCL is meant to be the strongest weapon in game, so at point blank it shouldnt have the same strength as DA, it should do a lot more damage.

Maybe over time, it does now. Since the HCLs take virtually no power. At least in my experience.

LMAO. HCL's are the most draining weapons on the EAD, and they do cruddy damage.

On an ad, I have full actives, aux. shield gen, and 4 aux gens.

I bind one key to all cls.
One to all torps and beacons.
One to core weapon.

Everything at level 10, I can fire the beam key and the torpedo key alternately with very little power loss.

Right now, under 100gu, an HCL gets you the same results roughtly as a particle cannon which also has a longer range, takes less energy, fires faster....


Now see the problem?

ead has only l2 3 aux gens.. hcl damage and cl damage sucks.
