Last night i logged on, picked up my fully modded mandible and went hunting. (all top level kit, with Bose speakers and everything)
Found myself at a jump gate with a fleet of ICCIES on the other side.
Decided to play a cloak and wait game. Sure enough couple of frigates turn up, uncloak take them apart then cloak and sit. This is fun thinks me, teach the little maggots to attack the might of the Kluth empire.
This is when it goes sadly wrong.
Another frigate turns up, a bomber. BUt an Assault Dread pops through as protection. No problems thinks i, one alpha and ill take the frigate, couple of salvos at the Dread and then ill cloak.
Oh how i laughed at the simplistic nature of my nasty plan.
So all goes according to plan until i accidentally follow the damn frigate through the gate, uncloaked into a fleet of a million Iccies, including stations and scouts and it felt like frodo popping his head up in Mordor.
this is where i panic, imediately cloak and attempt to dodge a bucket load of beacons that are whizzing about like fireworks night.
HAHAHAHAHHA MUAHAHAHHAHA they missed.
Except one.
Sig hits the plus 40. Every damn ship jumps my location and i survive for an impressive amount of time, which was painful.
I know what your thinking , Jump you silly lobster, and i tried, only the deceitful iccies have a Dictor. (God i hate them things, not playing fair i say)
So up i goes in one allmighty KABOOOOOOM. Not pretty not pleasant, but at least in there haste to kill me Lightning took out one of his own with his haste to kill me.
There was minimal lag, so im not gonna request for comp. BUT that pres loss hurts.
I lost my ship through my own stupidity and eagerness to get a kill.
I did laugh though, as it was funny.
If there is a KLUTH god up there, give me a break upon ressurection.
